Becoming an Entrepreneur

What do you need to become an entrepreneur?

Here’s what you do NOT need:

  • A lot of money
  • A Business Plan
  • Investors
  • A management team
  • A college education (especially an MBA)
  • An office, store, or factory
  • Partners
  • A bank loan
  • A government handout
  • Most of the things business “experts” say you must have to start a business

All of these things may (or may not) become desirable sometime down the road, but they are NOT essential to starting a business—becoming an entrepreneur.

However, there does seem to be one thing that is essential to becoming a successful entrepreneur. The Kauffman Sketchbook has captured this single element very simply.

Check it out.
